We also have referral relationships with specific specialists when needed for the best patient care. Job Summary: Our EDDAs ensure patients understand their treatment plan. Handle objections to proposed treatment. Present or co-present the treatment plan and consent. Educate patients, as necessary, regarding their dental needs. General duties are that which encompass any activity occurring at or related to the planning and administration of treatment for patients.
Requirements
- Dental Assisting Experience
- In-depth knowledge of dentistry and ability to describe and assist with procedures in simple language
- Superb communication skills
- Familiarity with computer systems
- Customer service skills
- Self-directed
- Organizational skills
- Familiarity with ADA codes
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to function within a team environment as a supportive and positive contributor
- Ability to work independently
- 3+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant
- Excellent verbal communication skills

Responsibilities
- Ensure patients understand their treatment plan.
- Handle objections to proposed treatment.
- Present or co-present the treatment plan and consent.
- Educate patients, as necessary, regarding their dental needs.
- Perform activities related to the planning and administration of treatment for patients.
- Take final impressions for permanent indirect restorations.
- Adjust and cement permanent indirect restorations.
- Apply sealants.
- Perform coronal polishing.
- Design and mill Nightguards and inhouse crowns.
