About The Position
Apple Tree Dental is an established general dentistry clinic seeking an experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of EDDA experience working in general dentistry, is outgoing, reliable, has a strong work ethic, and desires to continue learning and growing.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) experience required
- X-Ray certification required
- Active CPR Certification or willing to obtain
Nice To Haves
- Certified Dental Assistant preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist with a variety of dental procedures using four handed dentistry
- Take scans, impressions and diagnostic X-Rays
- A thorough review and update of the patient's health history
- Setup and breakdown of operatories
- Assist with stocking and ordering inventory
- Sterilize dental instruments according to OSHA regulations
