About The Position
Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking an energetic and motivated Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join its dental practice. The role supports the dental team in providing patient care in a fast-paced environment, while contributing to patients’ oral health. The position includes assisting during procedures, preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, educating patients, performing basic dental procedures under a licensed dentist’s guidance, and managing appointments and patient records. Requirements
- 2–3 years of previous dental assisting experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- For Georgia applicants: CPR certification, Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.

Responsibilities
- Assist the dental team in providing patient care.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.

- Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate patient records.
