Temp Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA)
About The Position
Greeley Dental Health is an established general dentistry clinic seeking an experienced Temp Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team full-time, Monday-Thursday. This position will be from August 17-November 26 which will help us provide coverage while one of our current employees is out on leave. We offer a fun office culture where we celebrate birthdays, have themed days and host potlucks. We foster a supportive environment where everyone gets along and genuinely enjoys working together. This role provides the opportunity to work with two fantastic doctors that are approachable and fun to be around. We are a highly-rated family dental practice with a loyal patient base.
Requirements
- One or more years of hands-on Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) experience
- Two or more years of experience as a dental assistant in a general practice
- Active CPR certification or willing to obtain
- X-Ray Certification required

Responsibilities
- A thorough review and update of the patient's health history
- Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies as needed for each operatory
- Sterilization of instruments according to OSHA regulations
- Assist the dentist chairside with four-handed dentistry
- Place fillings, fabricate temp crowns, pack cord and seat temp crowns
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Assist with ordering and stocking supplies
