About The Position

Aleut Federal is seeking an Exercises/Wargaming Instructor/Curriculum Developer to support the 533d Training Squadron’s USSF Guardian Enlisted Training (GET) initiative at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. Work is slated to start on January 1, 2027 (contingent upon contract award). The role involves supporting the USSF's effort to refine roles for Space Force officer, enlisted, and civilian Guardians to better prepare the USSF for dominating in the space-domain. Enlisted Guardians serve as technical specialists, leaders, weapon system experts, and advisors across satellite operations, cyberspace operations, and intelligence operations in the space-domain. This position is crucial for the development, education, and training of the enlisted force, starting with the foundation built during Initial Skills Training, as part of the GET initiative to meet the Chief of Space Operations’ vision.

Requirements

  • Skilled communicator, experienced in providing platform instruction to an academically diverse audience.
  • Experience developing curriculum using Instructional Systems Design (ISD) standards.
  • Prior completion of AETC Basic Instructor Course (BIC) or other service equivalent, accepted by CCAF or ability to obtain a CCAF accredited BIC certification within 3 months after employment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Active or current Top-Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility required.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, coordinate, execute, and assess wargames/exercises supporting GET training events.
  • Assess and mentor students.
  • Support integrated events, guest instruction, and multi-course instruction.
  • Support mission integration and Graduation Exercise (GRADEX) activities.
  • Participate in curriculum reviews, agile course development and maintenance efforts.
  • Maintain LMS records and student documentation.
  • Participate in faculty development and continuous improvement activities.
  • Coordinate activities with Contract PM and government supervisory personnel.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
