About The Position

KBR is seeking an Exercises and Wargaming Analyst to provide Headquarters STARCOM with on-site support at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. The ideal candidate will have experience in exercises and wargaming within space mission areas. This role involves supporting the planning and execution of US Space Force-related exercise and wargaming requirements, developing the USSF Service Exercise Plan, organizing and scheduling Working Group meetings, identifying and prioritizing USSF exercise/wargaming requirements, preparing briefings, integrating joint exercise/wargaming requirements with service activities, ensuring events support Guardian and weapon system readiness, and delivering the finalized Service Exercise Plan. The position may require limited travel to support customer events. Requirements

  • An active TS/SCI is required to be considered for this position, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
  • 3+ years of experience planning and executing exercises.
  • BA/BS degree (5 years of relevant experience may substitute).
  • Firm understanding of space capabilities.
  • Headquarters experience in the US Space Force, US Air Force, Combatant Command, Field Command or equivalent.
  • Experience with providing strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis and recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare quality products including briefings and staff packages for senior leaders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and turn staff products rapidly in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work with both internal and external senior leaders, offices, directorates, and action officers.
  • The ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF).

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of JTIMS.
  • Experience with US Space Force weapon systems and missions.
  • Experience with Joint- or Service-level strategy and/or exercise development.
  • Task Management Tool proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of US Space Force-related exercise and wargaming requirements.
  • Support development of the USSF Service Exercise Plan and associated Field Command activities.
  • Organize and schedule Working Group meetings with key organizations and stakeholders.
  • Identify, document, coordinate and prioritize USSF exercise / wargaming requirements.
  • Prepare briefings and minutes to facilitate exercise and wargaming planning and objectives.
  • Integrate joint exercise / wargaming requirements with service exercise / wargaming activities.
  • Ensure exercise / wargaming events support Guardian and weapon system readiness.
  • Deliver finalized Service Exercise Plan and update to maintain currency and alignment with USSF objectives.
  • Travel may be required for limited durations to support Customer events.
