About The Position

This full-time position is responsible for the daily operations of the fitness exercise equipment areas. The role involves assisting members with equipment orientations and providing guidance on the safe and proper usage of all fitness equipment. Additionally, the specialist will perform preventive wellness assessments, organize and implement programs related to preventive wellness, and represent Augusta Health Lifetime Fitness at health fairs and outside events.

Requirements

• CPR/BLS for healthcare providers or ability to obtain during orientation period
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science, Kinesiology, Sport Management or a Fitness Related Field required or a combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Willingness to work different shifts, weekends, and/or holidays

Nice To Haves

• One year experience working in the fitness field
