About The Position

IRG Physical & Hand Therapy is seeking an Exercise Specialist to join their growing team. This role is integral to the company, responsible for assisting patients with exercise plans and modalities, and playing a crucial role in establishing and maintaining relationships and driving the patient experience. This position is ideal for individuals with an undergraduate degree looking to gain clinical experience before applying to PT/OT school or other medical programs. IRG offers global and regional collaboration opportunities for its exercise specialists through its 35+ locations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Experience in a customer-facing position
  • Knowledge and ability to demonstrate body mechanics, functional movement, and exercises
  • Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA laws and compliance regulations
  • Proficiency with technology and computer systems (EMR, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.)
  • Ability to properly transfer patients with use of good body mechanics while maintaining patient safety
  • Responsible for own transportation to and from work site
