About The Position

The School of Arts and Sciences at Holy Family University seeks applications from potential adjunct instructors to teach Exercise Science courses for the Fall session. The courses include Introduction to Exercise Science and Physical Fitness and Assessment. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in their related field and a passion for engaging and inspiring students. Requirements

• An earned academic degree (doctoral or master’s level) in the discipline or a related field appropriate for the contracted teaching responsibilities.
• Current CV and cover letter
• Official transcripts from undergraduate and graduate institutions
• Three letters of recommendation

Responsibilities

• Teaching of courses in their assigned disciplines
• Maintaining academic excellence in their classrooms
• Responding to email correspondence from deans, coordinators and students in a timely manner
• Providing grades and feedback to students in a timely fashion
• Active and timely use of Canvas, our LMS and CRM, our retention software for student learning and engagement
