About The Position

The clinicians functioning as Exercise Physiologists are responsible for orienting, monitoring and evaluating patients receiving either Exercise Myocardial Perfusion or Pharmacologic stress tests. The clinicians are also responsible for maintaining good flow for all tests in order to minimize wait time for all patients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field
• Knowledge of basic 12 lead ECG
• Knowledge of arrhythmia recognition
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent within 90 days of hire
• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire

Nice To Haves

• ACSM Exercise Specialist certification
• Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification
