Requirements

BLS, ALS certification through American Heart Association
6+ months of experience in an exercise testing laboratory, cardiac rehabilitation facility or corporate health setting. May consider new graduate if hiring department can provide direct supervision for 6 months
Basic computer, CRT, and typing experience
Testing equipment familiarity: Marquette EKG machines, treadmill control systems, and Holter monitor systems or similar
May be required to work extended shifts in situations deemed necessary by the Cardiology Lab Supervisor

Nice To Haves

ACSM certification
MUSE experience
Pace Art experience
Cardiopulmonary stress testing
Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

Acts as the administrative and technical support for all procedures provided by the cardiology lab
Performs procedures including EKGs, holter monitoring, event monitoring, stress treadmill testing, nuclear stress testing, transtelephonic pacemaker checks, tilt table testing, stress echocardiograms, contrast echocardiograms, transthorasic echocardiograms, satellite test transmissions and result coordination
