About The Position

This role involves identifying patient needs and priorities for care through assessment, assisting in the development of exercise prescriptions, and supervising exercise therapy. The Exercise Physiologist will manage the selection and maintenance of exercise equipment and provide wellness education to cardiac inpatients and those progressing through Cardiac Rehabilitation sessions. Maintaining appropriate documentation on patient progress is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

HS/GED Required.
Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in exercise/wellness field.
BCLS certification required within 6 month provisional period.
Must be able and willing to work with all patients while managing multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
Must possess excellent organization and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

ACSM Certificate preferred.
Experience as an Exercise Physiologist in a clinical environment preferred.
