About The Position
Utilizes current peer-reviewed literature as well as an educational background from an accredited university as a foundation for proper exercise rehabilitation of cardiovascular and pulmonary patients, including all aspects of their condition. Develops individualized exercise prescriptions for each patient and oversees the implementation with a multi-faceted team of health professionals. Promotes a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, or related field.
- Documentation of current CPR certification required within 1 week of employment.
- ACLS certification within 3 months of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, or related.
- American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certified Certified Exercise Specialist (CES) or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP).
- American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP).
