About The Position
Saint Luke's Hospital has an opportunity for an Exercise Physiologist in a Cardiovascular Imaging department. This position is PRN and works on an as needed basis covering day shift times of 7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm. This position will float to all 4 metro hospitals.
Requirements
- 2 years Applicable Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
Responsibilities
- Independently perform stress testing
- In conjunction with RN, supervises exercise and pharmacologic nuclear stress testing
- Starts IVs
- Interpret and recognize arrhythmias and respond to abnormal EKG interpretations
- Prepare the patient for their imaging study including gathering of clinical data and preparation of the room and the chart prior to the visit time
- Assist with follow up instructions to the patient under the direction of the provider or nurse clinician
