Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or related field required.
- 3 months’ experience with cardiac rehab preferred
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days required
- CCES- Certified Clinical Exercise Specailist upon hire OR RCEP - Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist Upon Hire
- Must possess knowledge of respective clinical area to include equipment used, infection control, criteria of standard precautions, national patient safety goals and all other skills related to patient care delivery
- Previous cardiac rehabilitation experience is not required. Qualified candidates must possess strong teamwork skills, the ability to interpret cardiac rhythms, excellent critical thinking abilities, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
