About The Position
This is a part-time position for an Exercise Physiologist in Cardiac Rehab at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. The role involves teaching exercise classes, administering fitness testing, and developing/implementing exercise programs. It also includes providing education to patients and families on healthy lifestyles and supervising exercise programs. The position requires the ability to deliver emergency medical care for cardiac and pulmonary rehab patients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Human Performance, Adult Health & Fitness, or related field
- 1 year of experience
- BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS Certification
- ACLS - Required to be successfully completed within 90 days of employment
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Human Performance, Adult Health & Fitness with concentration in cardiac health
Responsibilities
