The Executive Vice President (EVP) plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing our strategic initiatives, driving scalable growth, fostering innovation, ensuring community impact, and driving financial wellness for our employees and our members. They are also responsible for ensuring operational excellence across all facets of our organization and ensure the organization scales without sacrificing member experience or culture. Reporting directly to the CEO, the EVP collaborates closely with senior leaders to drive sustainable success and deliver exceptional value to our members. The EVP represents the organization with credibility in the community and industry, building relationships that support growth, partnerships, and long-term impact. What you will do here: Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership team to develop and execute the credit union's strategic vision, goals, and objectives. Ensure enterprise strategy is translated into disciplined execution across operating models, talent, technology, and culture. Balance near-term performance with long-term scalability and growth. Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance member experiences, operational efficiency, and competitive positioning. Member Engagement and Service: Champion a member-centric culture focused on delivering exceptional service, building strong relationships, and exceeding member expectations. Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and deepen member relationships through innovative products, services, and digital channels. Monitor member feedback, market trends, and competitive dynamics to drive improvements in service quality and member satisfaction. Translate member insights, data, and technology into differentiated experiences that scale with growth. Financial Management: Oversee financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to optimize profitability and shareholder value. Analyze financial data and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue growth and risk mitigation. Develop and implement strategies to diversify revenue streams and manage financial risks effectively. Ensure financial discipline while enabling investment in growth, innovation, and long-term capability building. Leadership and Talent Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth. Lead multiple lines of business while encouraging a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance standard, and ethical behavior amongst the leadership team. Strengthen enterprise leadership capability and succession pipelines, ensuring readiness for expanded roles and long-term continuity. Leads through servant leadership, trust, candor, and accountability. Lead and cultivate a diverse, inclusive workforce that reflects our membership and communities. Operational Excellence: Establish and sustain enterprise-wide execution discipline that enables consistent, high-quality performance while supporting growth, innovation, and change across all lines of business. Align operating models, governance, decision rights, and performance management to ensure the organization can scale efficiently without creating complexity, silos, or friction for employees or members. Drive operational rigor and accountability by setting clear expectations, empowering leaders to own outcomes, and ensuring results are achieved without micromanagement or command-and-control behaviors. Embed continuous improvement as a leadership discipline, leveraging data technology, and employee insights to simplify processes, improve productivity, mitigate risk, and enhance member experience. Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain strong regulatory discipline as a foundation for growth and innovation. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to navigate regulatory changes and maintain a culture of compliance and integrity. Ensures that all organizational operations and activities are carried out in compliance with NCUA, local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations. Community Relations Represent the organization with authenticity and credibility as a visible enterprise leader, strengthening the brand and building trust with employees, members, community organizations, industry partners, and regulators. Cultivate strategic relationships and influence through active participation on boards, committees, and industry and community initiatives that enhance the organization’s reputation, expand partnerships, and support long-term growth and impact.
