Anthos|Home is a nonprofit startup focused on creating a new way home for New Yorkers with housing vouchers. We streamline the apartment search, approval, and move-in process using technology to move people into stable housing faster. The Role: Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the EVP of Program Operations owns the operating cadence, handoffs between teams, pipeline visibility, and the daily work of unblocking what's stuck. This is a pivotal leadership role, ensuring we build on our existing infrastructure to serve even more people who need our support. Anthos|Home is scaling significantly and preparing for expansion. Doing that well means tighter handoffs, faster cycles, and fewer avoidable delays between a unit coming online and a tenant holding the keys. It also means building the operational foundation for new lines of work. The EVP supervises the Deputy Chief of Program Operations and the Director of Data and Evaluation and sets priorities across the teams led by the Vice Presidents of Housing Acquisition, Tenant Coordination, and Operations/Administration, who report to the COO.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree strongly preferred in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field (MBA, MPA, or equivalent).
Equivalent combination of education and progressive leadership experience considered (typically 10+ years in operations, data/analytics, or systems management, ideally within nonprofit, housing, or human services); experience working cross-functionally with program and technology teams strongly preferred.
More than 7 years of senior management experience, including experience running a multi-team operation, with a track record of driving results through influence and credibility, not only through direct reporting lines.
Proven success improving efficiency and operational performance through process creation, streamlining, and/or digitization, with the ability to design processes that hold up at scale and a drive to keep making things faster and better rather than settling for what works today.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and expertise in data analysis and reporting tools, and an ability to assess with clear judgment what the numbers do and do not tell you.
Strong technology expertise, with proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and data visualization tools, and a quick eye for where technology can improve the work.
Experience utilizing AI is also important.
Strong communication and presentation skills paired with excellent judgment, and proven experience leading change management efforts and inspiring confidence in new directions.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree strongly preferred in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field (MBA, MPA, or equivalent).
Experience working cross-functionally with program and technology teams strongly preferred.
Experience utilizing AI is also important.

Responsibilities

Drive unit clearance against targets and keep work moving from unit identification through move-in.
Set priorities when teams pull in different directions, and clarify ownership where responsibilities overlap.
Tighten the handoffs between teams, including the handoff to Aftercare, so nothing falls through the seams.
Hold every team to a consistent quality standard across the pipeline.
Raise the bar for how teams use data to make decisions and keep new initiatives moving alongside the day-to-day work.
Continuously evaluate how placements run, and drive improvements through process redesign, technology, or wherever else the opportunity sits.
Monitor spending against budget and flag issues early when they trend off track.
Working closely with the Director of Data and Evaluation, oversee the data systems and technology that advance the goals of Anthos|Home, including the use of AI.
Evaluate these systems on a regular cadence, identifying additional resources or changes needed to keep them effective.
Lead the analysis of current technology, recommend near-term fixes, and set a longer-term strategy for the organization’s data and technology infrastructure.
Oversee evaluation efforts: identify resources, and provide feedback and information as needed.
Partner with the COO to work with the CEO on strategic direction, goals, and action plans for Anthos|Home.
Oversee implementation of strategic initiatives with the Deputy Chief of Program Operations and other leaders.
Propose, evaluate, and provide feedback on new strategies, including revenue streams based on Anthos|Home’s core model.
Work with senior leaders to carry out organization's strategic vision and operating plans, and with external partners (e.g. government, nonprofit partners, property owners) where needed.
Continuously evaluate the Key Program Indicators used to measure success, and address the challenges they surface.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative organizational culture.
Support the organization as needed.
