This role focuses on enhancing the guest experience in departments such as Apparel & Accessories, Beauty, and Electronics, while ensuring product availability and ease of shopping through tasks like pulling, filling, pricing, staging, and maintaining the sales floor and backroom. Target aims to provide meaningful experiences that help team members build and develop skills for a career. This role offers knowledge in guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, and pricing/promotions strategies. It also involves experience in setting and planning monthly/quarterly workloads, managing teams to achieve sales goals, managing multiple specialty businesses, understanding competitors, and managing a team of hourly team members and leaders.
