The Executive Sous Chef will take on a key leadership role in the kitchen, serving as a true #2 position. This individual will lead the team day-to-day, run service with confidence, and take ownership of the kitchen when needed. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to be actively involved in the work, push standards, and contribute creatively while helping drive a strong, organized operation.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years in a leadership role (Sous Chef or higher)
  • Strong presence in service and ability to lead a team
  • Experience managing kitchen operations independently
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and consistent
  • Solid foundation in culinary technique and systems
  • A reliable, self-sufficient leader
  • Someone who takes ownership and sets the tone
  • A cook who still wants to be on the line
  • A team builder who can develop people and push standards

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily kitchen operations and service execution
  • Run the kitchen independently when needed
  • Support menu development and contribute creative input
  • Train and develop the team while holding standards
  • Manage ordering, inventory, and cost control
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and readiness for service
