The Executive Sous Chef is responsible for planning and directing the food preparation in the kitchens. In addition, the Executive Sous Chef is responsible for ensuring that product quality and service standards are met and that optimum dining service is provided to hotel guests. This role involves assisting the Executive Chef in managing kitchen staff, menu development, food costing, kitchen management, staff scheduling, policy enforcement, and ensuring adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations. The position also includes inventory management, purchasing, cost control, team development, and maintaining sanitation standards. The Executive Sous Chef will collaborate with other departments for seamless event execution and will serve as the culinary leader in the absence of the Executive Chef.
