About The Position

Join The Cigna Group's Talent Acquisition team and help shape the leadership pipeline for our U.S. enterprise. Reporting to the Head of Executive Recruiting, the Executive Recruiting Sourcer will turn market insight into action, build trusted relationships with exceptional senior talent, and strengthen a consistent executive recruiting brand. This is an opportunity for a curious, high-energy search professional who combines rigorous research, sound judgment, and a high-touch approach.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of recent experience recruiting and/or sourcing executives within a retained search firm, agency, or corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated success with executive talent research, market mapping, passive candidate engagement, pipeline development, and candidate assessment.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn, PowerPoint, Excel, and recruiting databases or CRM platforms.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools, including Microsoft Copilot or comparable technology, to improve talent research and executive search execution.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work across multiple team members and searches in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
  • Executive presence, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage complex or sensitive situations independently.

  • Established networks within executive talent markets and diverse professional associations.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute sourcing strategies for assigned business groups, using market mapping, networking, referrals, and creative research to identify high-caliber executive talent.
  • Develop and sustain diverse executive talent pipelines before hiring needs arise, including relationships with senior industry leaders, professional associations, and external partners.
  • Gather, analyze, and share market and competitive intelligence that informs search strategy, talent decisions, and broader business or organizational design discussions.
  • Assess and qualify prospective candidates through thoughtful outreach and in-depth conversations focused on experience, leadership capabilities, motivation, and role alignment.
  • Create concise, executive-ready slate presentations and talent briefings that synthesize candidate backgrounds, accomplishments, career highlights, and assessment insights.
  • Partner confidently with executive recruiters and senior leaders, balancing multiple searches, changing priorities, sensitive information, and time-critical deliverables.
  • Use AI-enabled tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to accelerate research, market mapping, candidate profiling, search intelligence, and stakeholder communications while preserving a personal candidate experience.
  • Support search operations as needed, including interview scheduling, presentation and spreadsheet editing, search materials, CRM updates, and team coordination.
  • Stay current on executive search tools, technologies, and practices, and share ideas that improve quality, speed, and consistency.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in supporting both strategic sourcing and administrative responsibilities, including scheduling candidates and executive recruiters, editing presentations and spreadsheets, preparing search materials, and assisting with other operational tasks as needed.
