We’re looking for a high-performing Executive/Senior Underwriter to join our team and play a critical role in driving profitable growth and strengthening broker partnerships.

Requirements

5+ years of Allied Healthcare liability underwriting experience
Strong background in Excess & Surplus (E&S) lines and wholesale distribution
Expertise in Allied Healthcare Excess business
Proven ability to drive profitable growth and broker engagement
Advanced selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Leadership experience with a passion for mentoring others

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree (Risk Management preferred)
CPCU, ASLI, AU, or similar designations

Responsibilities

Manage and grow a profitable book of Allied Healthcare Excess business
Underwrite complex primary and excess risks across E&S lines
Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale brokers
Serve as a technical expert on coverage, pricing, and underwriting strategy
Lead underwriting activities including new business, renewals, and pricing
Identify trends, emerging risks, and opportunities to enhance portfolio performance
Collaborate cross-functionally (claims, product, leadership) to inform decisions
Mentor and coach junior underwriters and contribute to team development
