About The Position

The Executive Protection Traveling Agent will be embedded into a reporter team and move from city to city throughout the duration of the event. Locations may include but not be limited to stadiums, fanfests and city point of interests. The EP Traveling Agent will provide unarmed security and close protection, coordinate ground transportation, facilitate airport movements and be trained and prepared to handle all possible incidents. The Agent will ensure all parties under their supervision are informed of, prepared for and adhere to all travel details to include but not limited to itineraries, safety measures, travel guidelines and operating procedures. The Agent will file daily end of day reports to security leadership, report delays, anomalies and incidents both small and large immediately to leadership and GCOS operators.

Requirements

  • US Citizen with a social security card
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 21 years of age
  • Valid US Passport
  • Able to read, write and speak English fluently and comprise detailed written and typed reports
  • Enhanced Driver’s License in compliance with current TSA travel guidelines
  • Active LEOSA/HR218
  • Minimum 3-5 years of executive protection experience in similar scope
  • Able to stand or walk the duration of shift with little time or access to chairs or rest areas, have the ability to sprint or run for short durations
  • Able to safely operate a vehicle
  • Able to climb stairs and traverse uneven terrain
  • Able to use force of 200lbs or more as needed
  • Able to intervene and use verbal or physical force as appropriate to the situation
  • Be exposed to harsh environments, weather, heat/cold, direct sun, excessive loud noises, electrical equipment, large crowds in proximity, heavy machinery, heavy traffic, 24/7 availability and able to work long hours/shifts in austere environments indoors and outdoors
  • Familiar with report writing, word, excel, emails, phone communication, setting and creating travel itineraries
  • Exceptional verbal, written and electronic communication
  • Ability to follow strict guidelines, timelines, itineraries, safety measures, SOPs
  • Ability to think critically and operationally to ensure protection of their team

Nice To Haves

  • Specialized law enforcement experience such as SWAT, DEA, FBI with a resignation in good standing preferred
  • Military Special Operations such as Ranger, SEAL, SF with etc Honorable discharge preferred

Responsibilities

  • Embed into the protection detail seamlessly
  • Provide close protection to assigned reporter team/s
  • Coordinate ground transportation and airport movements
  • Maintain communication with their assigned team to ensure accurate and prompt dissemination of information to all parties
  • Create and file daily detailed reports of delays, anomalies, all incidents and daily end of day logs
  • Maintain situational awareness of their principle, crowds, locations and venues to ensure the protection of their team
  • Be trained and prepared to handle all security situations unarmed
  • Be appropriately licensed as a security officer in all assigned locations
  • Always maintain a professional appearance
  • Be physically prepared to handle all situations related to the protection of their team
  • Other duties as assigned.
