About The Position

The Boeing Company is looking for an Executive Protection Senior Manager to join the team in Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; Hazelwood, MO; or Arlington, VA. We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and operationally focused Senior Manager of Executive Protection (EP) to lead and scale our EP program. The ideal candidate will have proven executive protection experience, exceptional leadership and mentorship abilities, and a track record of aligning EP operations with broader business objectives. This role will oversee day-to-day EP operations, develop and maintain policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), drive program strategy and long‑term forecasting, and cultivate strong, positive relationships with the Executive Council, board members, partners, and customers. Potential new-hire candidates upon being extended a conditional offer of employment will need to pass a fitness test and physical to continue through the hiring process.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience supporting executive protection, close protection, and/or major event security operations
  • Experience managing Executive Protection teams, supervisors, and/or managers
  • Experience running day-to-day Executive Protection operations and planning complex protective details
  • Experience with oversight of budgets and financial data
  • Experience aligning security strategy with organizational strategy
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally on short notice
  • Successful Candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict Of Interest (COI) assessment process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the executive protection function, including planning, staffing, scheduling, and operational execution of EP assignments
  • Provide strategic direction for EP programs aligning security initiatives with business goals and risk posture
  • Mentor, coach, and develop direct reports; foster a high-performance, accountable culture
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, senior company leaders, customer C-suite executives, partners, vendors, and peers
  • Oversee development and maintenance of SOPs, policies, security operations plans (SOP/Plans), and crisis response playbooks
  • Establish, maintain, and drive management operating rhythms (e.g., weekly leadership syncs, monthly reviews, quarterly planning) to ensure disciplined execution and continuous improvement
  • Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and objectives; set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews
  • Manage EP program budget planning and expense oversight, including forecasting, procurement coordination, and cost optimization
  • Review employee threat assessments, advance work, travel risk management, and incident after-action reviews
  • Liaise with legal, Human Resources (HR), facilities, and other internal/external business units to ensure compliance, privacy, and business continuity
  • Assume Delegate of Authority responsibilities for the Protective Services Director as needed
