Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in executive protection, security, law enforcement, or military service
- Strong personal work ethic and reliability
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including extended periods of standing, walking, or travel readiness
- Alignment with our values: urgency, ownership, accuracy, and teamwork
- Relevant experience or training in executive protection, security, or a related field (military, law enforcement, or private security background)
- Proven ability to meet daily expectations with quality and consistency
- Comfort working in fast-paced, protocol-driven environments
- Ability to follow structured protocols and adapt to evolving priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in team settings
- Ability to pass a background check and, where applicable, obtain required security licensing/certification
Nice To Haves
- Prior formal executive protection or law enforcement/military experience
- Current certifications (e.g., CPR/First Aid, defensive tactics, firearms if applicable)
- Track record of exceeding expectations or improving team performance
- Experience working in high-visibility or accountability-driven environments
- Demonstrated initiative outside of core responsibilities
- AI literacy is considered a core professional capability at Diversified Botanics. Team members are expected to actively explore and apply AI tools to improve execution, decision-making, and operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Provide executive protection and physical security coverage for leadership and company assets, both on-site and during travel
- Follow established security protocols and SOPs without deviation, escalating gaps or risks immediately
- Conduct site monitoring, access control, and threat assessment to maintain a secure work environment
- Coordinate with the security team lead to align coverage schedules and shift handoffs
- Maintain confidentiality and sound judgment when handling sensitive situations or information
- Respond calmly and effectively to unplanned or high-pressure situations
- Support team consistency and readiness through clear communication and proactive problem-solving
