About The Position

As an Executive Protection Agent, you’ll provide personal protection security concierge and escort services to a group of executive personnel which includes the senior leadership team and our board of directors. In addition, you’ll advise and report to the Head of Executive Security on security trends, risks, and assist with the implementation of improvements to our physical security programs and best practices that impact our employees to ensure a safe work environment. Additional areas of assistance include scheduling and supervision of additional personnel. In this role, you’ll be expected to maintain a low-profile and have the ability to keep calm in stressful and potentially dangerous situations. The right candidate will understand and maintain the highest sense of confidentiality when interacting with our global leadership team and any external parties.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a law enforcement capacity with active LEOSA (HR 218) and/or concealed carrying qualification throughout US. If retired, ability to maintain QRLEO carrying qualification.
• Ability to work flexible hours throughout the week to meet the needs of our C-Suite and Senior Leadership Team’s busy schedule, with ability to pivot on a 24-hr notice.
• Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as requested throughout the year.
• Familiarity with the local area
• Impeccable driving record and current driver’s license in good standing, subject to intermittent MVR checks.
• Access to a company vehicle during employment.
• Ability to successfully pass a law-enforcement style intensive background and personal history check.
• Calm presence and demeanor, ability to maintain a low-profile.
• Presentable, professional approach at all times with excellent communication skills and ability to read non-verbal cues.
• Ability to physically intervene at any time when a threat requires physical interference.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary escort and personal protection service to our executive team members and Prologis employees as requested.
• Provide logistical support for travel to/from personal residences and during times of domestic and international travel working closely with the Head of Executive Security.
• Survey locations to detect potential threats and escalate situations to the head of Executive Security or appropriate law enforcement parties as directed.
• Conduct pre-work to identify potential risks before major events and meetings as appropriate.
• Continuously monitor media outlets to identify domestic and international geo-political and/or violent incidents and other potential threats/vulnerabilities.
• Assist the Head of Executive Security in developing and consulting on physical security training and readiness programs with internal Global Risk and Facilities teams.
