About The Position

The Senior Team Leader Emergency Response Agent (ERT) is tasked with numerous functions providing overall support to protective security operations in dynamic, multifaceted, and fast-paced corporate environments. This role ensures the overall safety and security of protectees/corporate employees by monitoring security systems, updating emergency plans, managing health and safety programs, and controlling access. The position requires building relationships, maintaining discretion, and working irregular hours. The agent will partner with various teams, including intelligence, investigations, global security operations centers, private security firms, and law enforcement, to proactively identify and mitigate threats. Responsibilities include detecting and reporting suspicious activity, completing special projects, and traveling as required.

Requirements

Participation in random drug screenings.
Must complete physical readiness test prior to offer of employment.
Team members must always maintain physical readiness to respond to an attack or hazard.
Pass pre-employment background investigation.
Possess a Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent applicable work experience.
Possess a valid and current driver license.
Possess a valid U.S Passport.
Possess Basic Life Safety (BLS) certification.
Possess NYS unarmed security guard card.
Must be able to obtain a New York State armed guard card and NYC CCW and/or LEOSA license.

Nice To Haves

Prior ERT, military, law enforcement or executive protection experience providing physical security, emergency response, surveillance detection, secure transportation.
Prior training in incident response, emergency medicine, etc.
Professional and friendly communicator with a positive attitude and commitment to excellence (prior experience in customer service or hospitality industries).
Experience in Access Control Systems Software, Google Suite, Slack, etc.
NYC CCW and/or LEOSA with NYS Armed Guard Card.

Responsibilities

Ensure the overall safety and security of protectees/corporate employees.
Monitoring security systems and technology tools for various properties to include alarms and cameras.
Update existing site-specific Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Manage site specific health and safety programs.
Access control for visitors, employees, and vendors.
Opportunities for special assignments.
Effectively build relationships and communicate with key staff and employee stakeholders.
Maintain discretion and confidentiality.
Ability to work irregular or extended hours (shifts to include nights, weekends, and holidays).
Partner with various intelligence and investigations teams, global security operations center assets, other private security firms, and local law enforcement to proactively identify and mitigate threats.
Detect and report suspicious activity and security vulnerabilities.
Be able to operate in a dynamic, multifaceted, and fast-paced environment.
Complete assigned special projects as required.
Travel as required.
