About The Position

Provides advanced protective services for executives and family members during travel and events, ensuring adherence to security protocols and situational awareness. Performs proactive threat assessments, supports secure logistics planning, and responds effectively to emerging risks while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Executive Protection Agent II provides a safe environment free from both physical harm and embarrassment to protectee and must take appropriate action in the event that the protectee becomes ill/injured and/or confronted by hostile persons. There is a general expectation to be armed during domestic assignments only. Duties will be performed domestically and in Baja California, Mexico. Occasional overnight travel.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Typically requires 1 year of related experience.
Must reside in Southern California or be willing to relocate upon hire.

Threat Monitoring - The process of systematically observing, analyzing and assessing potential risks, vulnerabilities and malicious activities within a system, network or physical environment in order to identify and respond to potential threats and then maintain the integrity and security of the targeted entity.
Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Management - The systematic approach to maintain health and safety at occupation and protect the environment.
Physical Security Management - Implements, improves and maintains the protection of people, property and physical assets of an organization.
Case Management and Investigation - The process an organization uses to handle, route, resolve, and report on conflicts or issues.
Must be able to lift or drag items weighing 50–100 pounds across a distance of 5 yards.
Must be able to sit or stand continuously while maintaining alertness and situational awareness for extended durations.
Must be able to perform duties effectively in wet conditions, high noise levels, environmental hazards, sudden temperature changes, and varying atmospheric conditions.
Must be able to safely and independently enter and exit vehicles multiple times during a shift, including during time‑sensitive or emergency situations.
Must be able to navigate various terrains, climb stairs, and move quickly to respond to incidents.
Must successfully complete and pass all required physical assessments, post offer.
California issued (BSIS) Guard permit and Firearm Expose Carry permit, or the ability to obtain both cards within six months of hire.
CCW: Retired Law Enforcement Officer under 18 USC 926B & 926C, LEOSA HR-218, or possess or have the ability to obtain a California CCW within six months of hire.
Security Driver courses, First Aid/CPR/AED, tactical medicine courses.
Valid California driver license is required. Must possess a safe driving record including no chargeable accidents or violations over the last three (3) years.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree is preferred.
4 years of law enforcement experience, or equivalent work experience with conducting dignitary or direct executive protection.
Experience working/driving in Baja California, Mexico, Baja/USA Cross Border knowledge
Private sector executive protection
Effectively use computer software and applications platforms to perform administrative duties such as timecard management, reporting data, expense reports, and communications.
Bilingual - Spanish/English (mid to high conversational level)
If hired, must successfully complete an Executive Protection Agent training program in the first six months.

Responsibilities

Maintain a level of physical fitness to be able to provide effective protection to executives and employees during critical incidents
Participate in all assigned training and complete required training/qualifications/inspections.
Executes secure transportation plans for executives and family members.
Performs route reconnaissance to identify potential risks and alternate paths.
Monitors real-time conditions (traffic, weather, local alerts, risk levels) to adjust travel plans.
Assists in coordinating protective measures during high-profile events.
Conducts basic threat assessments for scheduled movements.
Maintains readiness of protective equipment and vehicles.
Provides situational updates to security operations center during transit.
Ensures compliance with organizational/standard protocols for executive safety.
Performs other duties as assigned.
