The Executive Project Analyst will support the LDH Leader by researching and analyzing subject matters, gathering and compiling information, and drafting correspondence. This role provides regular updates on administrative project status, assists with the development and implementation of administrative processes, and reviews and edits correspondence for accuracy and completeness. The analyst will ensure all written materials are audience-appropriate and accurate, identify and evaluate state policies, and draft presentations, talking points, executive briefings, and situational reports. This position coordinates and leads discussions related to initiatives and projects involving the LDH Leader, relieving them of complex and confidential administrative matters. The analyst will prepare the LDH Leader for legislative hearings and key meetings, compose and transmit directives to staff, and handle routine and non-routine correspondence. They will compile information from various sources, prepare specialized reports, and track correspondence and statistical information. The role also involves answering and screening calls/correspondence, acting as a mediator for internal conflicts, and communicating pertinent information to the LDH Leader. Additionally, the analyst will perform and supervise administrative support activities, monitor LDH Leader calendars, conduct and supervise special projects, and interact with various internal and external teams. Understanding of Outlook calendar and state government organization structure is essential. The analyst will also prepare confidential HR documents, serve as an IT liaison, assist with onboarding/offboarding, and coordinate team functions and meetings, including scheduling, preparing materials, ensuring equipment is functional, taking notes, and documenting action items.
