The Information Technology Bureau (ITB) of the New York City Police Department is seeking an Executive Program Specialist to support the CIO in driving execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring proper resource allocation across units, and providing visibility into the health of bureau-wide projects. Under executive direction and with wide latitude for independent judgment, the Executive Program Specialist manages and coordinates high-priority initiatives, monitors staffing and skill alignment, and identifies opportunities to improve bureau performance by closing stalled projects and reallocating resources. This position serves as a direct extension of the CIO, ensuring that the bureau’s people and projects are aligned with mission-critical objectives.
