About The Position

Join Virginia Housing and help make a difference as an Executive Program Administrator. (On-site) This important role is part of our fast-paced, high-energy Executive team and is responsible for coordinating and facilitating executive-level meetings and events, ensuring that all activities are completed on time, within budget, and meet the high-quality standards of the Executive Division. The Executive Program Administrator handles requests from partners, stakeholders, and Virginia Housing Leadership and serves as a point of contact for our six Advisory Council groups. The role handles confidential and sensitive information on a regular basis with the utmost discretion. The Administrator performs concurrent assignments and projects in an efficient and highly organized manner and is also responsible for proofreading board materials and speeches. The role reports to the Executive Office Manager and may independently administer the office, when necessary. Virginia Housing is one of the nation’s leading housing finance agencies. Requirements

  • Associate degree (preferred) in business administration or similar study or equivalent work experience.
  • Several years of experience working with senior management and C-Suite executives.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced executive environment managing competing priorities and tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within an organization.
  • Experience coordinating and facilitating executive-level meetings with internal and external partners/stakeholders.
  • Prior medium-scale event planning experience and comfortable using event management software such as Cvent.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading and recordkeeping skills and extremely organized.
  • Experience reviewing vendor service contracts.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Calendar, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Board Papers, and MS Planner.
  • This position requires incumbents to drive for Virginia Housing business purposes. Therefore, incumbents must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and adhere to the standards set forth in the motor vehicle related Administrative regulations and Human Resources policies as a condition of continued employment.

  • Familiarity with financial institutions, housing organizations, state and local governments is a plus.
