About The Position

This Titan TV Student Assistant position supports staff with the production and writing for shows such as The Report, Titan Sports, In Focus & Titan Radio Live! Under direct supervision, the Student Assistant TV Producer will assist staff with television studio productions and field productions, scheduling of production staff, equipment, and facilities, working with writers and assistant producers on programming assignments, PR for television programming and shows, production-crew and student-volunteer recruitment, and ensuring all student-run productions are edited in a timely, cost-effective manner.

Requirements

• Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
• Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
• In good academic standing (not on academic probation, continued probation, academic dismissal).
• Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.
• Ability to learn and perform assigned work
• Ability to follow oral instructions
• Ability to work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels
• Ability to read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.
