About The Position

The Executive Operations Project Manager serves as a strategic operations partner to Government & Industry Relations leadership, supporting executive operations, project management, event execution, and departmental administration. This role partners closely with senior leaders to coordinate priorities, drive key initiatives, manage high-visibility events, and ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in executive operations, project management, business operations, event management, or a related field.
  • Experience in government affairs, public policy, regulatory affairs, corporate relations, trade associations, or similar environments.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Must reside within a commutable distance of Washington, DC and be able to work from the DC office as needed to support executive meetings, leadership activities, team events, and business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive support to senior Government & Industry Relations leaders, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel logistics, expense management, and executive communications.
  • Prepare agendas, briefing materials, presentations, and follow-up actions for leadership meetings and external engagements.
  • Coordinate leadership priorities and track progress on key initiatives.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, action items, and stakeholder commitments.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, trackers, and operational processes.
  • Gather and synthesize information to support executive decision-making.
  • Lead logistics and execution for high-profile events, including Congressional Fly-Ins, leadership meetings, team on-sites, stakeholder engagements, and other department-sponsored events.
  • Coordinate venues, hotels, transportation, catering, attendee communications, meeting materials, and event budgets.
  • Support executive participation before, during, and after key events.
  • Support budget planning, invoice processing, expense tracking, and vendor management activities.
  • Coordinate approvals and maintain records related to consultants, memberships, sponsorships, and operational spending.
  • Maintain departmental resources, documentation, and shared administrative processes.
