About The Position

A&K Robotics develops autonomous mobility technology designed to help people move through large, complex spaces with more freedom and independence. Designed and built in Canada, our Cruz™ Mobility Pod is an all-electric, AI-enabled micro-mobility solution created for real world environments. We work with leading airports and airlines to deliver more accessible and efficient travel experiences, and we’re looking for more outstanding team members to contribute to our growth and help our customers win! Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an executive assistant, operations coordinator, office manager, founder support, administrative assistant or similar role
  • Experience supporting senior leaders, managing competing priorities, and keeping day-to-day operations organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to take on new opportunities and challenges, with a passion for personal development
  • Committed to continuous improvement and supporting our goals as leaders in our own continuous improvement
  • A sense of urgency in executing responsibilities and prioritizing most critical work
  • Reliable, yet flexible and adaptive approach when carrying out tasks
  • Ability to identify problems, opportunities, and ways to improve how we work and operate as a team
  • Tech savvy for modern platforms such as Slack and Asana, yet highly comfortable with traditional platforms such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Superior communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment, while still remaining calm and focused when we are sometimes flying by the seats of our pants
  • Flexibility to support the team during busy and sometimes fast-changing periods
  • Caring and thoughtful in how you work with people, while remaining highly professional, discreet, and trustworthy
  • Strong judgment and the ability to support with additional tasks and priorities as needed to help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly

Responsibilities

  • Maximize executives’ time through highly effective agenda management, prioritization, and gatekeeping against any wastes of time
  • Executing key business action items, including crafting emails, proofreading and writing applications, taking meeting notes, preparing presentation and other business materials, conducting business research, and following up with customers, partners, vendors or employees
  • Provide business and personal support to executives with the goal of maximizing our focus, energy, and effectiveness, including through errands, logistics, and other practical support.
  • Ensure the office is well managed on all fronts, from bookkeeping support, to office tidiness, document management, shipping and receiving, inventory management, vendor coordination, snacks and supplies, to technology account access
  • Help create a positive, welcoming experience for guests, partners, investors, and team members visiting our office
  • Prepare the office and meeting spaces for demos, customer visits, and important meetings
  • Attend business meetings and conferences, locally and abroad, providing support in all aspects of business, from organizing travel, to setting up booths, to running workshops, and ensuring everything runs smoothly end-to-end
  • Coordinating events for our team and our friends, such as meet and greet events, holiday celebrations, company happy hours, and other moments that help create a positive culture
