This position covers the south region and is .4 Admin and .6 Clinical. It involves demonstrating advanced expertise in ambulatory practice operations and leading the adoption of evidence-based, multidisciplinary care models aligned with the latest clinical standards. The role drives physician network quality, cost management, and performance initiatives, ensuring efficient, ethical use of clinical resources and adherence to evidence-based protocols. It also ensures compliance with regulatory, legal, and accreditation standards while advancing safe care practices, care coordination, and continuity across the network. Additionally, the position oversees documentation integrity, revenue capture, budgeting, and financial performance, contributing to physician compensation models, contracting decisions, and risk mitigation strategies. The Executive Medical Director partners across clinical and administrative dyads to execute strategic plans, support growth, and lead quality, patient experience, and operational excellence initiatives. Finally, the role leads, mentors, and evaluates medical directors and clinicians, supporting recruitment, development, performance improvement, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
