About The Position

This position involves monitoring the club lounge for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being. The role requires maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools. Responsibilities include preparing and serving beverages (hot, cold, and alcoholic), stocking supplies, and anticipating replenishment needs. The server will also wash dishes and serving utensils, complete opening and closing duties, and requisition necessary supplies. Securing liquors, beers, wines, and storage areas is also part of the role, along with documenting pertinent information and forecasting meal requirements for the kitchen. The server must report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions, adhere to company policies, maintain a professional appearance, and protect company assets. A key aspect of the role is providing excellent guest service, including welcoming guests, addressing their needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and expressing genuine appreciation. Effective communication, both verbal and written, is essential, as is developing positive working relationships and supporting team goals. The role also requires performing other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • No related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor club lounge for seating availability, service, safety, and wellbeing of guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
  • Prepare and serve hot, cold, and/or alcoholic beverages.
  • Stock ice, glassware, and supplies.
  • Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs promptly.
  • Wash dishes and serving utensils as needed.
  • Complete opening and closing duties.
  • Requisition all necessary supplies, transporting supplies from storeroom to bar set-up area as required.
  • Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
  • Document pertinent information in department logbook.
  • Forecast additional meal requirements and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
  • Assist individuals with disabilities.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
