About The Position

The Executive Loan Officer is Rocket Mortgage’s client-facing, licensed mortgage loan originator. The role uses knowledge of loan programs, guidelines, mortgage documents, and the home-buying process to guide clients through obtaining real estate financing and achieving their personal and financial goals. The position supports clients from application through closing, develops referral relationships and a book of business, and represents the Rocket brand in the community.

Requirements

• Experience in mortgage loan origination.
• State and federal licenses.
• A proven track record of obtaining referrals and generating lead volume.
• Professional communication, time-management, results-driven, teamwork, and critical/strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients throughout the loan process from application to closing, including resolving client concerns.
• Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, investment advisors, accountants, other professionals, friends, family, and closed clients to promote Rocket and support clients seeking real estate financing.
• Consult with clients and assess their financial situations to identify appropriate loan products.
• Evaluate clients’ credit, employment, income, assets, property, and other financial documents to determine whether they qualify for financing.
• Cultivate relationships with mortgage referral sources and market the value of working with Rocket Mortgage.
• Advise and educate clients about home-buying and refinancing and how to better manage their mortgages.
• Establish, develop, and maintain a book of business to generate referrals and revenue.
• Provide excellent service to referral sources and clients.
• Stay current on Rocket Mortgage products, qualifying parameters, and process changes.
• Represent the Rocket brand at civic and community functions to support business development and drive lead flow to the branch.
