About The Position

A private family in Ridgefield, Connecticut is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to join their established household team. This is a hands-on role for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with experience maintaining luxury residences and providing formal household service. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the existing housekeeping staff to ensure the seamless operation of a large estate while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience as an Executive Housekeeper in a private residence or formal estate.
  • Experience working in large, fully staffed luxury homes.
  • Knowledge of formal household service, fine laundry care, table setting, and silver care.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Positive, proactive, and team-oriented.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Provide meticulous daily cleaning and organization of all living spaces.
  • Household laundry and wardrobe management
  • Iron sheets and household linens.
  • Care for luxury finishes, antiques, artwork, and specialty surfaces using appropriate cleaning techniques.
  • Polish silver and maintain fine household items.
  • Set formal tables and assist with dinner service as needed.
  • Prepare guest accommodations and maintain guest spaces.
  • Coordinate daily responsibilities with the existing housekeeper and rotate coverage between multiple residences on the property.
  • Maintain inventory of household cleaning supplies and communicate household needs as appropriate.
  • Uphold the highest standards of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
