The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the overall cleanliness and friendly service of the entire Hotel, including all guest rooms, public areas, facilities, storage rooms, and guest and house laundry. This role involves overseeing the housekeeping team, managing schedules, ensuring spotless cleanliness, maintaining product consistency and quality, and fostering teamwork. Key responsibilities include conducting daily stand-up meetings with the team, assigning and reviewing checklists, training and holding team members accountable for cleaning standards, managing room assignments, inspecting rooms, and ensuring rooms are correctly updated in the Property Management System (PMS). The Executive Housekeeper also balances and clears nightly room status reports, maintains the organization and cleanliness of storage areas, submits maintenance requests, manages supply inventory, oversees lost and found procedures, and ensures compliance with chemical safety standards (OSHA). This role requires a strong understanding of hospitality standards, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. The Executive Housekeeper plays a crucial role in achieving the company's standards of "Happy Guests" and "Spotless Cleanliness."
