About The Position

The Courtyard by Marriott Evansville East is seeking a dynamic Executive Housekeeper to lead all aspects of housekeeping services for the hotel. As part of the hotel management team, you will have the opportunity to shape world-class experiences for our guests, ensure guest and employee satisfaction, and maintain profitability within the housekeeping department. This is a high-energy position, and we are looking for a motivated individual to take the team to the next level.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience supervising/managing a housekeeping department in a hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping and Laundry department to include appropriate cleaning of all public areas as well as guest rooms.
• Provide supervision to Laundry staff and ensures the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation
• Monitor, manage and respond to guest requests and concerns, ensuring that they are handled in a timely and professional manner
• Develop and monitor schedules for the housekeeping department. Recruiting, hiring, and training team member to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Work closely with all departments to ensure efficient operations. Serve on Hotel Leadership Team to represent the interests of the housekeeping function.
• Develop and implement programs that assure a safe facility and work environment.
• Ensure the proper maintenance of all equipment; makes arrangements for repair and/or replacement of used and damaged equipment.
• Conduct inventory of housekeeping supplies and prepare purchase requests to ensure that the housekeeping area is stocked and organized.
• Oversee the safe management of the Lost and Found, verifying proper record keeping and safety of items
