About The Position

A busy and kind family is seeking a fantastic executive housekeeper to assist them in their two homes. One home is in the Upper East side and one is in Midtown East. The schedule is 40 hours a week and will be split 3 days a week at one home and 2 days a week at the other.

Requirements

Significant professional experience as an Executive Housekeeper in high-end private residences
Exceptional knowledge of fine furnishings, luxury surfaces, and proper cleaning techniques
Excellent knowledge of designer clothing, delicate fabrics, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care
Strong formal service skills and experience working alongside a private chef
Extremely organized with an exceptional eye for detail
Proactive and able to anticipate household needs without being micromanaged
Comfortable communicating professionally with vendors and other household staff
Polished, discreet, professional, and service-oriented
Strong references from previous private household employers

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working in formal UHNW households strongly preferred
Candidates seeking a long-term position are strongly preferred

Responsibilities

All upkeep of a 5000 square foot apartment
Deep cleaning and daily tidying in conjunction with existing part-time housekeeper
Creating and maintaining household organization systems
Daily laundry, including fine fabrics and linens. Ironing and pressing
Grocery shopping and basic errands
Assisting in the kitchen with basis prep- chopping vegetables, etc.
Providing service during events and parties
Packing for travel
