About The Position

Great Lakes Management Group (GLMG Hotels) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead housekeeping operations and ensure exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for managing the housekeeping team, maintaining high cleanliness standards, and ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet brand and company expectations. This role plays a key leadership position in delivering a comfortable and welcoming environment for hotel guests. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hotel housekeeping experience
  • Previous experience as Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage housekeeping teams in a fast-paced hotel environment
  • Knowledge of hotel cleanliness standards and safety procedures
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with IHG, Hilton, or Marriott brand standards
  • Experience managing hotel housekeeping teams and department scheduling

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily hotel housekeeping operations including guest rooms, public areas, and laundry.
  • Ensure all rooms meet brand cleanliness standards and quality expectations.
  • Conduct regular room inspections and quality checks.
  • Monitor daily room assignments and housekeeping productivity.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort.
  • Respond to guest requests and address housekeeping-related concerns.
  • Ensure guest rooms are ready and properly prepared for arrivals.
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff including room attendants and housepersons.
  • Create team schedules based on hotel occupancy and operational needs.
  • Provide coaching and support to maintain high performance standards.
  • Promote teamwork and a positive work environment.
  • Manage housekeeping linen inventory, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Maintain appropriate supply levels to support daily operations.
  • Communicate with Front Office and Maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
  • Monitor daily housekeeping reports and operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, brand standards, and safety procedures.
