This job provides the delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for nurses and Standards for Nursing Practice. With minimal supervision, works to coordinate the physical and all testing for Executive Health clients. Works with the corporate clients to make sure that all expectations of the company are met. Works collaboratively with physicians, the executive health medical leadership, nurses and other clinic department directors to ensure patient/client satisfaction. Requirements

  • Education Required - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Work Experience Required - 5 years of related experience OR 3 years experience with a bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Certifications Required - Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgement in performing duties.
  • Strong delegation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
  • Preferred - Clinical certification in area of expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and administers appropriate medical care to all executive health patients.
  • Communicates critical information to team members, patients and family members.
  • Coordinates the scheduling of clients based on the corporate protocol.
  • Addresses and resolves client concerns.
  • Trains and orients any new staff member on policies and procedures of department and its operations.
  • Adapts to rapid changes in the unit/department and prioritize activities in order to meet operational demands.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge and required certifications through continuous education and developmental opportunities.
  • Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
