About The Position

The Executive Director is responsible for developing and enhancing client and employee relationships, maintaining excellent rapport with clients and caregivers, and promoting harmonious interpersonal relationships. This role requires the ability to identify and solve problems, use sound judgment for quality decisions, and actively evaluate staff performance. The Executive Director must maintain current awareness of field staff abilities and limitations, assign duties appropriately, and counsel staff to provide exceptional customer service. Adherence to Connect Pediatrics’ policies and procedures is essential, and the director holds nurses accountable for non-clinical policies. Involvement in cost containment and effective utilization of nurses for case assignments are also key. The position includes participating with the Clinical Supervisor in nursing staff performance management and providing leadership through planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating client services. Effective communication, clear expression of ideas, and active listening are crucial.Day-to-day duties involve managing staffing to ensure all patients are adequately staffed, maintaining labor and field nurse OT percentages in line with company goals, and hiring and training new operations team members. The director manages recruiting efforts, ensures staffing goals are met, and oversees job postings and career fair involvement. New patient onboarding, including meeting new families and serving as the primary non-clinical contact until full onboarding, is also a responsibility. Client and employee retention efforts, managing client and office relations, and ensuring timely delivery of nursing supplies, hotspots, Chromebooks, and birthday gifts are part of the role. The Executive Director assists with managing nurse and office employee bonus structures, office team-building events, new employee onboarding/orientations, and marketing events.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Speak, read, write and comprehend English.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
