About The Position

Patriots Glen Assisted Living is hiring an Executive Director to join our amazing care team. We are located in the Lake Hills neighborhood in Bellevue. We're an assisted living and memory care community located minutes from I-90. We are excited to hear from you!! FT Days Monday-Friday Hours as position requires

Requirements

  • At least twenty-one years old
  • Not a resident of the assisted living facility
  • Qualified to perform the administrator's duties specified in WAC 388-78A-2560
  • Must meet the requirements of at least one of the following sections in WAC 388-78A-2522 through 388-78A-2527
  • Certified in First Aid and CPR
  • Must possess strong and proven leadership and management skills
  • Must be able to relate to the elderly in a positive manner
  • Must possess marketing and public relations skills
  • Proven ability to lead teams and develop people
  • Must possess the ability to read, write and speak English
  • Possess excellent oral; written and telephone communications skills
  • Be capable of making mature judgments
  • Organizational skills
  • Detail - oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer a college degree and/or five years of management experience
  • Prefer candidate to have worked in the senior industry for a minimum of two years

Responsibilities

  • Organize and direct the community’s ongoing functions.
  • Operates the community in a manner which will ensure company profitability by meeting all community budget and census guidelines as set by Corporate Direct and monitors all marketing activities to achieve a 100% occupied community
  • Provides resident programs designed to provide enrichment in the areas of social interaction, entertainment, arts and crafts, physical exercise, education, religious services, and community involvement
  • Directs and monitors timely and accurate completion of all daily/weekly/monthly billings, accounting and bookkeeping requirements
  • Assists as needed in the coordination of move-in with respective residents.
  • Periodically reviews each resident's status and ability to perform under the terms and conditions of the Residency Agreement
  • Ensure the implementation and maintenance of effective budgeting and accounting techniques. Use Declining Balance sheets per department and provide ongoing training and monitoring as to effectiveness. Stay in line with the budget as to expenditure and revenue expectations.
  • Actively manages and leads the community team, including recruiting and retention of key contributors, performance management, employee development, coaching, and feedback
  • Participate in daily monitoring of the cleanliness and maintenance of the community.
  • Maintain ongoing liaison among the Governing Authorities, professional personnel and staff.
  • Ensure community policies and procedures reflect changes in federal and state rules, regulations and codes as well as establish and maintain active membership in national, state and/or local professional organizations.
  • Ensure the accuracy of public information materials and activities.
  • Ensure adequate staff education and evaluation is being conducted.
  • Oversee the Quality Assurance/Utilization Review process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
