About The Position

Riverstone Memory Center is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and mission-driven Executive Director to lead our privately owned memory care community in Missouri City, Texas. We are looking for someone who embodies entrepreneurial spirit and is committed to delivering exceptional care for seniors living with dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Requirements

  • Experience managing an assisted living or memory care community is required
  • Strong understanding of state licensing expectations for Texas assisted living
  • Proven leadership and management experience with staff oversight
  • Compassionate, resident-first mindset and ability to support families during emotional transitions
  • Exceptional communication, decision-making, and people-management skills
  • Entrepreneurial and resourceful approach to problem solving
  • Ability to thrive in a non-corporate, owner-operated environment

Nice To Haves

  • RN or LPN license preferred but not required
  • Prior experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care
  • Familiarity with community outreach and census development

Responsibilities

  • Provide strong, visible leadership to team members, residents, and families
  • Ensure compliance with all state regulations for assisted living and memory care
  • Oversee daily operations, including staffing, budgeting, admissions, care services, and resident satisfaction
  • Maintain a warm, supportive, and person-centered environment for residents
  • Develop and mentor team members to uphold community values and performance standards
  • Partner closely with owners to align goals, implement improvements, and drive growth
  • Build relationships within the local community and lead census development efforts
  • Handle family communication, resident transitions, and care planning with empathy and professionalism
  • Uphold all safety, care, and hospitality expectations for a high-quality memory care community
