This role involves organizing and directing the agency's ongoing functions, including operational and organizational planning, budgeting, and monitoring progress toward operational and strategic goals. The Executive Director will ensure interdisciplinary care is provided while maintaining ethical business and clinical practice. Key responsibilities include directing staff in performance of duties, employing qualified personnel, ensuring adequate staff education and evaluation, maintaining knowledge of community service systems, and ensuring services provided are approved by the hospice. The role also requires ensuring the agency operates in compliance with federal and state law, managing conflict and complaint resolution, implementing and monitoring effective budgeting and accounting systems, and evaluating program, services, and personnel. The Executive Director will also perform other duties as required and ensure overall compliance with local, state, and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures.
