About The Position

Join Coffee Memorial Blood Center, an innovative, dynamic, and successful company that provides lifesaving and life improving blood products to hospitals and first responders throughout our region. We help build strong community partnerships by bringing together donors, volunteers, businesses, schools, healthcare organizations, civic leaders, and many others ensure that blood is available for patients in need. Your contributions will matter, creating donor heroes now and enabling some transfusion recipients to live into the 22nd Century. Further, by serving any and all people requiring blood, and collecting from as many different groups and places as possible, we are a unifying force that literally joins people together. Ours is more than a management position - it's a leadership opportunity to shape community engagement, drive collections growth, and strengthen the fabric of giving across the Panhandle. We're seeking an experienced, relationship-focused, compassionate, disciplined, and insightful executive to oversee our Amarillo operations and to help advance our mission as the Donor to Patient Lifeline. In directing staff, strong aptitudes for motivating people and developing talent are required. Good communications and interpersonal skills are must haves, as are strong organizing skills, process orientation, project execution, and proactive energy. Impeccable character and uncompromising integrity are foundational. As the Amarillo Center Executive Director, you will lead regionwide efforts to recruit blood donors, enlist drive sponsors and volunteers, and oversee the efficient collection, storage, and delivery of blood products. This highly visible leadership position combines community engagement with operational leadership in a fast-paced environment where commitment, creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement are at the heart of our endeavors. You will have responsibility for multiple departments performing complex tasks under rigorous regulatory oversight. The job will never be dull, and its impact will always be essential.
