About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and driven Executive Director, Strategic Marketing, to join our Marketing Team, reporting to the SVP, Marketing. This role is crucial in shaping Evolus' corporate presence as a leader in aesthetics and executing an innovative customer engagement strategy based on Evolus' unique value proposition to the aesthetics industry. The individual will collaborate with key Healthcare Professional (HCP) influencers at local, regional, national, and international levels, developing commercial relationships with external experts through effective targeting, 1:1 contact, and networking at relevant events. This role is responsible for driving and maximizing advocacy with all key stakeholders through structured engagement plans and tactics, aligned with corporate and brand strategy. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 15+ years of progressive strategic marketing experience in a matrixed healthcare/pharmaceutical/biotechnology organization, with a demonstrated track record of growth and success.
  • Experience developing trade show strategy including mapping, presence, podium, speaker sector with deep working relationships with industry thought leaders, healthcare providers, societies, and HCP influencers to help drive and elevate Evolus Marketing activities.
  • Extensive aesthetic injectable industry knowledge, long-standing relationships in the industry and scientific knowledge capable of discussing clinical studies and including all products and brands and their pipelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with a demonstrated track record of building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Detail oriented and organized, with strong time management skills.
  • Flexible and able to navigate ambiguity, succeeding in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple priorities.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to collaborate well with internal peers.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop effective working relationships with industry thought leaders, healthcare providers, societies, and HCP influencers to help drive and elevate Evolus Marketing activities.
  • Develop trade show strategy including mapping presence, podium, and speakers.
  • Own the Evolus experience at HQ, including advisory boards, KOL visits, and HQ events.
  • Create KOL engagement plans that complement strategic and marketing business plans through industry knowledge and long-standing relationships.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with established and emerging KOLs across the aesthetics industry through scientific exchange of information and deep industry knowledge of all companies, brands, and products.
  • Own Evolus' corporate presence at medical meetings, ensuring quality customer interactions aligned with corporate and brand strategy.
  • Attend local, regional, and national medical meetings, engaging key thought leaders and coordinating meetings with the Evolus leadership team.
  • Monitor KOL communications and industry literature to track trends and identify engagement opportunities.
  • Lead a central, highly visible customer engagement strategy across the company to elevate Evolus' unique value proposition.
  • Provide internal thought leadership on industry trends and competitive intelligence, serving as the “voice of the customer” in internal strategic discussions to ensure resources and messaging align with trends in the marketplace.
  • Serve as a liaison between marketing and sales, leading customer engagement activities including regional dinner programs, events, and promotional symposia.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Legal, Compliance, and Sales to develop and execute customer-facing strategy.
  • Run the cross-functional steering committee with Professional Education, Medical Affairs, and Clinical.
  • Partner with sales teams to identify and pursue relationships with key customers.
  • Identify KOL gaps and opportunities and drive strategic plans of action to optimize Evolus' standing in the KOL community.
